Although we take every care to ensure that the available date is up to date, there may be a booking in progress that is not reflected on the availability page.  When we receive your Booking enquiry we will then confirm availability to you.  If still available, we will then send you a Booking Form which we ask you to complete and sign accepting these Booking Conditions, set out below and return it with a deposit, or full balance payment.

 

Although not contractual a guest guide will be provided. If you are able to accept attached files by E-mail then please advise as this is a much easier way to communicate.

 

Booking Terms, Conditions and Guidelines

 

All clients must have adequate travel & personal accident insurance.  If you do not have adequate insurance, David Eckles (hereafter referred to as the Owner) cannot be held responsible, or accountable, for any accidents or losses incurred during your stay at the villa or any part of the trip connected to this booking.  

 

The accommodation is reserved from 14:00 hrs. on the day of your arrival.  On the morning of your day of departure we ask you to vacate by 10.00 hrs.

 

Confirmation of your booking will be sent to you as soon as we receive your instructions including the 50% deposit of the published rate.  An invoice will be sent to you for the balance of monies owing 10 weeks before your arrival and payment is due 8 weeks prior to departure at the latest.  If your departure is within 8 weeks of the Booking, then the total cost will be due for payment at the time of Booking.  Failure to pay the final amount may result in the cancellation of your booking and the loss of the deposit.

 

There will be an additional “damage or loss” charge of £250.  This will be added to your final invoice and payable with your balance 8 weeks before travel.  This deposit will be returned to you 2 weeks after you vacating the property - subject to no damage or loss at the property.

 

The client agrees to pay the owner for the cost of repairing or replacing (Owner’s choice) any item of property, or contents at the villa, which is damaged due to negligence or wilful default of the Client during the Clients’ occupation.  

 

Any cancellations will incur the following penalties: Prior to 6 weeks before arrival 25% of the total cost.  Within 6 weeks of the arrival date 50% of the total cost. .

 

When making a Booking, it is the Lead Passengers responsibility to make sure that the property has adequate sleeping accommodation.  Any guest exceeding the maximum number of guests allowed or any extra guests that the owner was not notified of – or agreed to could be asked to leave the Property.

 

The Booking Client should be aware that the basement of the property contains a self contained apartment. Unless otherwise notified at the time of signing the contract the basement apartment will not be occupied

 

One full set of keys giving full access to the villa will be provided and each client will be informed in writing where the keys may be picked up from and also delivered back to at the end of the rental period.  All services will be checked to prior each arrival and an emergency contact list will be available at the villa.  It is the Clients responsibility to make sure that they have received directions and key location before they travel. Normally the Client will have received this information 7 days before their stay at the Villa.  In cases where this information has not been received the Client should contact the Owner to obtain this information.

 

A cot and a high-chair are available at no extra cost.  The villa has beds and linen for 6 people.  An additional sofa bed or camp beds can be provided in the living area at an additional charge.

 

All linen and towels, except pool and beach towels, are provided and are changed every Saturday.

 

The Owner makes every effort to ensure that the description of the property as advertised for rent is accurate.   All Bookings are made and accepted subject to the terms set out in these conditions and guidelines; this is deemed as a contract.

 

The person in whose name the Booking is made acts on behalf of all other persons named, and becomes responsible to us for all payments in respect of the Booking.

 

By Signing and returning the Booking Form, the ‘Lead Passenger’ is agreeing, on behalf of the Party that they and their party accept the Terms & Conditions as set out in this document.  The booking and payment obligations are made with the ‘Lead Passenger’ and as such, this is the only member of the Booking Group that the Owner will deal with in the case of any disputes.
